I invited a few colleagues to join me for an initial discussion about the premise of a shared ledger, how it might be possible, and what the benefits might be. This starts with our shared understanding of high volume, detailed, global ledgers, primarily in financial services. It also uses the Resource, Events and Agent (REA) theory by Bill McCarthy, as a way of thinking about the data at the bottom of such a system.

The second video shows the second meeting. In this meeting we discussed an initial mission statement for Sharealedger, and then went into deeper discussions about how data might be organized for sharing.
