How Membership Works
Under Board Resolution Exhibit L (Membership Access Policy), Sharealedger operates an agile, repository-based membership model. Access to the private sharealedger-org/members GitHub repository constitutes active membership in Sharealedger, NFP.
Current Dues Policy: Gratis
In accordance with the 2026 Board Policy, all current members are admitted gratis (no dues required) during this development and research phase. Future dues structures and member classes will be established by Board resolution when applicable.
Member Benefits & Resources
Active members receive:
- Private Research Repository Access: Direct read and contribution access to
sharealedger-org/memberscontaining research papers, prototypes, and progression slide decks. - Full Slide Deck Archives: High-resolution presentation materials and complete slide progression decks.
- Discussion & Working Groups: Participation in community working groups, technical forums, and the member listserv (
members@sharealedger.org). - Early Working Drafts: Access to pre-release whitepapers and conceptual models.

- Submit an Issue: Open a Membership Request on GitHub using our standard template.

Members agree to adhere to our antitrust guidelines, code of conduct, and intellectual property terms:

- Copyright Protection: Content in member repositories may carry individual contributor copyright notices. Members respect original author rights while contributing toward shared goals.
